About Narre Warren

Narre Warren, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is located 38 kilometers southeast of Melbourne's Central Business District, in the local government area of the City of Casey.

Narre Warren stretches from the north, where it borders Endeavour Hills and Lysterfield, to the south, where it borders Cranbourne and Lysterfield.

History of Narre Warren

The word Narre Warren, which has several different meanings, has Aboriginal origins; one of them is "small hills." Over time, New Narre Warren took ownership of the name, and the original Narre Warren changed its name to Narre Warren North.

Due to the old Main Street's distance from the current center of Narre Warren and its location next to a railroad, development has taken place farther from the original settlement.
