History of Noble Park

The history of Melbourne's Noble Park suburb dates back to 1909. Allan Buckley named the neighborhood Nobel Park after the Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel because he had used the estate to display Alfred Nobel's explosives. Due to frequent use, the name quickly came to be known as Noble Park.
