History of Noble Park

The history of Melbourne`s Noble Park suburb dates back to 1909. Allan Buckley named the neighborhood Nobel Park after the Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel because he had used the estate to display Alfred Nobel`s explosives. Due to frequent use, the name quickly came to be known as Noble Park.
